Repair mortar

Repair mortar applied for concrete surface repair and structural restoration

Repair mortar is a strong, cement-based material specially made to fix damaged concrete or masonry structures. It fills cracks, holes, patches surfaces, and restores strength quickly without shrinking much. Made from cement, fine aggregates, and additives for better flow, fast setting, and long-lasting durability. It bonds well to old concrete, resists cracking, and handles tough conditions like water or chemicals.

Main uses:

  • Repairing cracks, spalls, or worn areas in floors, walls, bridges
  • Patching roads, buildings, or industrial structures
  • Quick fixes where high strength and easy application are needed (sets fast, often in hours)

In repair mortars, PCE is the most important for flow and strength. Defoamer helps remove bubbles for a smooth finish. SMF is a good alternative superplasticizer when you need quick setting without delays.

  • PCE (Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer): Makes the mortar very flowable with less water (reduces water by 25-40%). Improves easy spreading, stronger bonding to old surfaces, higher early and final strength. Reduces cracking, shrinkage, and makes it denser for better durability – perfect for quick, reliable repairs.
  • Defoamer: Gets rid of foam and air bubbles during mixing. Prevents holes, weak spots, or rough surfaces. Makes the mortar denser and stronger overall, ensuring a smooth, professional repair that lasts longer.
  • SMF (Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde): Reduces water content without slowing down setting time. Boosts flowability and workability, stops separation or bleeding in the mix. Helps with pumpable repairs and keeps strength high – useful as a backup or in fast-set formulas.
