Carbon fiber fabric is an advanced reinforcement material widely used in structural strengthening applications. It combines extremely high tensile strength with very low weight, providing a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared with traditional materials such as steel.

Manufactured from continuous carbon filaments with high carbon purity, the fibers are bundled into yarns of different filament counts (e.g. 3K, 6K, 12K, 24K) and woven into thin, flexible fabrics. These fabrics are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and capable of delivering outstanding mechanical performance even at minimal thickness.

When applied to concrete or masonry structures, carbon fiber fabric is bonded to surfaces such as beams, columns, and slabs using epoxy resin systems. Once cured, the composite works together with the existing structure to improve load-bearing capacity, control cracking, and significantly enhance seismic and durability performance. This method is especially effective for upgrading existing buildings where conventional strengthening methods are difficult or impractical.
